  • MLB Rosters expanding in 2020

MLB rosters will expand in 2020 from 25 players to 26 with a maximum of 13 pitchers.

And the 40 man September roster will shrink to 28 with a maximum of 14 pitchers. This would also be the rule for the post-season.

The agreement would also include an increase of the minimum injured list and option time for pitchers from 10 days to 15 days.

Changes fantasy a bit for keeper leagues trying to pick up cheap guys in September.

Assuming it is going to happen. Still just reported and not official. Interesting if it happens.
