The Fantasy Baseball Guide came out in early January along with Lindy's and Street & Smith (formerly The Sporting News). Rotoworld and Rotowire came out in Early February.
If you are looking for minor league prospect writeups, The Street & Smith magazine for regular baseball (not their fantasy mag) has team rankings and a short one paragraph writeup for the top 20 prospects on each major league team. I usually pass on their fantasy mag, but get this one.
“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”
I used to look forward to the day I’d see these mags at Barnes & Noble, usually along with the Elias Baseball Analyst and Bill James Baseball Abstract. But then again, I used to religiously buy the newspaper everyday. Now, I do neither. Sad!
Picked up The Fantasy Baseball Guide and RotoWorld Fantasy Baseball at my local grocery store.
Yeah, those are my two favorites also. Rotowire is another good one, but the print in the player profiles has been too small for my old eyes the last several years.

I used "cheaters" to read in bed last night. Stayed up too long and a bit tired this morning.

Yep. Things are so much different than they were the Bullpen first came into being. I don't use any of the rags anymore. I remember I used to read Baseball Weekly regularly.

That's how many years ago? I was here, too. I remember compiling the daily stats by hand, out of USA Today.
