Interesting the shoulder is identified after he took the ball off his forearm recently.

Suppose this is a separate shoulder issue, or just making sure he doesn't injure anything trying to come back too soon with a bruised forearm?

Probably separate as his mph was down in the game.

Or perhaps intertwined, being concerned that even slightly altering mechanics from the forearm bruise could further mess up the shoulder, especially since he ended 2010 early with shoulder soreness.

Johnson is now saying he's had the shoulder pain for most of the year but didn't tell anyone. Could've fooled us by looking at his numbers. Jeesh.
