  • New MLB records

For the first time, 3 teams in one league won 100 or more games: Boston (108), Houston (103) and Yankees (100). 6 times before, 3 MLB teams have won 100 G, including last year, but never 4.

Also, for the 2nd time, 3 teams in one league lost 100 or more games: Baltimore (115), KC (104), White Sox (100). This also happened in the AL in 2002. 8 times before, 3 MLB teams have lost 100 G, the last time in 1985. In 2002, 4 MLB teams lost 100 or more G.

Also, in the "not sure if it's a record, but it's definitely strange" category: Khris Davis has finished the year with a .247 batting average for the fourth consecutive year! If anything, the guy sure is consistent.
