  • Is anyone still clinging to Adam LaRoche?

    Another 0-4 today.

I realize he is a notorious slow starter, but I really think his bum shoulder is bothering him.

His .172 batting average is the lowest among qualified hitters. He went 0-for-4 with two K's yesterday and he's now hitless over his last 23 AB. He hasn't delivered an extra-base hit since May 5 and hasn't homered since April 24.

Do any LaRoche owners still have faith that he will bounce back?

Has anyone released him this early in the season?

    He's always been a 2nd half player
I'm sorry, man, but I've got magic. I've got poetry in my fingertips. Most of the time--and this includes naps --I'm an F-18, bro. And I will destroy you in the air. I will deploy my ordinance to the ground.

He's in my lineup and I just ignore his variance.

I somehow spent like $30 on him, so I'm just hoping this is one of his slow starts...only on an epic scale. Of course, I am somehow in third place even with LaRoche being terrible, so that's a plus, I suppose.

Hammer is still clinging to him...Heh, heh.

That shoulder tear is obviously hurting him a lot more than he lets on...2nd half player or not, he's less than worthless right now.

Peripherals not encouraging. Smells like a bad shoulder.

Tough to cut, but if anyone bites on the "2nd half bounce," I'd sell in a heartbeat....

LaRoche to the DL Monday. My reaction was, "Thank goodness. Now he can't hurt me--or excel if I finally bench him."

I won't say how much I spent on him.
