I have to admit, I'd pass. Given that Moose is almost certain to be traded, I'd want the opportunity to have him if he'd get dealt to a hitter friendly park and/or a really good offense. And as revo noted, you already have three pretty darn good young guys at the MI positions (i'm assuming Seager is Corey and not Kyle).

Is this a win now deal or a trade for the future deal? If it is for the future, I'd happily trade peak value Belt and Moose for Torres. I just don't trust Belt to stay good and healthy over the long haul. I like Torres a lot. It does give you a logjam in the MIF, so that might be reason to pass.

This is definitely trade for the future. This was kind of my thinking as well, hence bringing it to the board.

In that case, I think this is a great deal for you. You have the rest of the season to flip one of your MIFers for something else if you want. Torres is the best player and keeper in the deal by a good bit. Good deal for you.

I never worry about having too many good players that fill an outfield or an infield when rebuilding. They are all assets that I can use or combine to get a better asset.
