    ....a little less active than they used to be? I am finding that in the multiple leagues I am in there seems to be less banter and owners seem less willing to engage in trade talk.

    How about your leagues?

      Yes, guys are getting much more conservative. Plus alot of guys like to stand pat until Memorial Day and then will look to deal (Why i dont know)

        Honestly, I've noticed this as a general trend over the last several years. I'm not sure why that is. I think maybe people are more serious about fantasy than they were before. Maybe? I've never been much into the banter and don't really talk much in leagues... unless I'm railing against some salary cap or something.

          Actually this year my league (Madducks and MagSeven also are in) seems to be more active than ever. With trades, moves and postings.

            Guys are getting older, the economy has been rocky. It's not a surprise, I suppose. But I miss the friendly banter.

              We've had 7 or 8 trades already since the season started, mostly goforit/rebuild combos.
              Lots of banter, but many of us only play in one league...

                Definitely with trades - no one wants to "sell low" or "buy high", and as a result, won't start dealing in my two main leagues until...about right now.
                I'm just here for the baseball.
