  • 2018 Andrew Suarez SF

Strong start, especially the K9 and with Cueto out, I assume Suarez hangs in this rotation all year. 11 team NL only with $100 FAAB for me. I am curious how much are you guys bidding on him? My initial bid was $6 but not sure thats enough.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

He went for 12 in my 10-team NL. I was at his first start this year. He looked real good from the upper deck for what that's worth. I think I said something about him before, let me see if I can find it...

enh, I can't. Anyway. He only gave up solid contact a couple times against the Dbacks a couple weeks ago, but that included two absolute bombs to Goldschmidt and JR Murphy and a long double to Ketel Marte. If he can manage his pitch count so he can go a bit deeper he could be very good.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

I can't even keep track of all these guys but I do kinda like Suarez for NL only. Behind Stratton. Ahead of Blach. Ahead of Derek Holland.

I got him in the 12TO league for $8 but couldn't see the next closest bid. In the my other league he went for $12 which is what i bid but lost out on him due to my team was higher in the standings.

This is how I would rank them as well. On a continuum...

          Stratton
          Suarez

Got him for $6 in my 11 team NL only. pretty happy as I thought he would be elsewhere.
