    No no through 6

And he's taken out after 6 hitless innings and 93 pitches.

Might end up as the even rarer combined variety.

I can't find how many combined no hitters there have been, but they seem to be a little rarer than solo jobs, since most if the time a starter that is tossing a no no stays until he gets it it it's broken up.

Also, is great a Buehler looked, he wasn't even the most impressive starter today. That was one hell of a gem by Cole.

              Munro - 2.2 IP

Buehler & company is the twelfth combined no-hitter in MLB history according to wikipedia. All but one have occurred from 1967-2018.

The first combined no-hitter was in 1917. Babe Ruth was the starting pitcher and was tossed after arguing with the home plate umpire following a walk to start the game. The runner was then thrown out stealing second and relief pitcher Ernie Shore retired all 26 batters that he faced!

The kid is off to a good start. I doubt he goes beyond the 6th as they will keep his pitch count down. This was the 1st combined no hitter in Dodger history.

this was listed in the record books as a 'perfect game' for decades until that purge that also eliminated Harvey Haddix's 12 no-hit innings (lost in 13th) and anything less than 9 innings as a no-hitter. #mlbspoilsports

Hopefully he gets lots of innings in this year. Exceptional talent.
