just on my team, a 12tm nl, I own M Carpenter .155, Carlos Santana .160, Y Puig .193 with zero home runs. My team is a wreck, but I have to think all 3 will get better, and Puig has to freakin get a home run, after his dl stint, at some point..

Encarnacion has always been a slow starter. Carpenter has been looking hurt. Fowler and Polanco and Rizzo are the biggest surprises for me. I think Hamilton is likely to cool off from this hot streak and get down to .150 or so.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

Rizzo is almost certainly an injury/small sample size thing. I have Rizzo and Desmond on my disastrous start NL only team. Desmond has been reasonably productive fantasy wise aside from the AVG.

I've had him on the bench for his last two games. But, i will be playing him on Friday so keep your fingers crossed.

                  Carlos Santana fucking blows.

Hamilton's SB upside is not even worth it anymore. Shame.

He seems to be trying to change, even if it's not working... his BB% and K% are both way up from his career numbers (12% vs 7% BB, 32% vs 20% K).

... actually, after looking at his plate discipline stats, his O-swing% and Z-swing% (percentage of pitching in and out of the strike zone that he's swung at) are basically normal, but his contact rate is down 10%. He's the same, just worse, and maybe that works out to more walks because he's not putting as much weak contact into play so the at bats go longer.
