  • Drop Kinsler for____?

Kinsler has been very mediocre at 2B for me. Was counting on at least a bunch of Runs, but he's barely getting on base (.302). Despite the strong offense, 4 R in 10 games isn't too promising.

    • YOLMER SANCHEZ flying largely under the radar, but hitting almost .300, .350+ OBP, and 65 ABs so he seems to be getting the playing time lately over Saladino...multi-position eligibility is a bonus.

    • RYAN FLAHERTY has been hot, nice numbers, but could lose playing time when Joey Bats takes 3B....multi-position eligibility is a bonus.

    • Of course our ollllllllld frenemy, JURICKSON PROFAR...seems to be back in favor, getting on base at a nice clip (.385), Odor and Andrus still out...multi-position eligibility is a bonus.

Or hope Kinsler stops looking old, frail and generally scared of life & turns it on....?

    Thanks!

Seriously, you need to walk yourself back from the ledge on this one. You cant base a year's production on 10 games and that applies to literally everyone you listed here. You invested in Kinsler, now you give him some games to pay it off and you dont drop him for waiver trash in a mixed league.

Kinsler was also a waiver pickup after he went on DL, so no big investment to eat...but yes, agree overall. I'm not usually one to panic on small sample size, but age/wear & tear makes me worry more than usual. He was barely ready for Opening Day, probably should have started year on DL vs. trying to play through it.

He played one game and then went on the DL...didn't come back to play regularly until April 12th. I think that you're really overreacting to what's actually a decent 2 weeks...

          D) None of the above

And I like Yolmer Sanchez and think he has some upside. But I'd take Kinsler over him for this year in a minute.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Yeah, none of those guys are close to Kinsler. I still believe Kinsler will have a very productive year.

those YTD projections are skyrocketing now!
