Setting down the WORLD CHAMPION ASTROS in order through six....

He won't, but if he does, it will arguably be the most improbable thing ever in baseball. It would certainly the most amazing perfecto I can think of.

              Interesting tidbit!

This game is the first in 36 years to have two starters go at least 7 2/3 IP with each allowing one hit or less.

Anyone who watched that game live had to be impressed. Colon was a machine. He wasn't just hitting "corners", he was hitting the "black" with half the ball over and over and over and over again. And the movement on the ball was spectacular. It wasn't hard, but he was hooking his heater in there on that outside corner to righties with such precision it was like the ball was on an invisible string to the outer part of the plate.

So what would you pay for him in FAAB?

Just when you think he's going to retire. Now it looks like he could pitch a few more years.

Not much unless you are desperate in an AL Only league in which case I'd toss out a few bucks.

Our AL-only 5x5 FAAB deadline is Sunday nights at 11pm, so I watched the game and couldn't help myself...I bid $5. We use the Vickary method. A couple other teams bid $1, so I got him for $2.

Seems fair - in AL Only he's worth a few bucks
