    12-team AL Only 5x5
    Salaries for 2018 only

    Get: Buxton 20
    Give: Carrasco 25 Greene 3

    Buxton replaces Greene as a keeper.

    Other keepers: Gregorius 9 Kluber 37 Clevinger 5 Giolito 5 Treinen 6

      Thanks, I sent the offer. It would likely save him a couple bucks on Carrasco and give him a cheap closer. If he counters with Treinen I'd probably still do it. I'm expecting a big year from BB.

        I take it that you are not planning to keep Carrasco yourself. If so, the offer is obviously good for you. Even if you are, it seems like a good deal. I would advise him to decline it, however.

          No, I think I need to keep an ace, so it's between Kluber and Carrasco, and the consensus here was to lock up the true ace.

                Following are his potential keepers. He was offering up Moose/Gardner for the past week and I told him I was only interested in Buxton. First he said he'd have to be blown away, but I've got him to the point of considering Carrasco/Greene by turning down multiple offers involving Moose and/or Gardner. No way he gives up Chapman, Barreto or Calhoun for an at-value Carrasco. I don't see anyone else who I like better than my current keepers.

                          Well, that's your prerogative, but Buxton is one of the 2 guys in MLB that has a realistic shot at going 20/50 for the next several seasons. I'll take that all day long...

                            Homer I know that Buxton has the skill set to do that. Worth a shot i guess.
