  • Cody Allen or Roberto Osuna ?

    AL only 5x5 12 team $260 budget.

Allen is $25A and Osuna is $25B.

I own both. I have a couple of guys inquiring on getting one of them. I know who I lean to. Who do you guys like better?

I like ozuna better. I still worry Miller could vulture some saves.

              Osuna but it's close.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Allen is a free agent after this season and could end up in the n.l. or even sign with a team in the a.l. which already has an established 9th inning guy for 2019.

As great as Allen's FpK and SwK is, Osuna's are even better.

That said, for me, it comes down to who cares. Osuna has the plus's but to protect a closer at $25 in a.l. seems on the very high side.

This. Osuna's supporting numbers are better, and he's about the most secure closer out there. That said, if I could get more in a deal for Osuna because your trade partner likes him better, I'd have no qualms about keeping Allen and taking the greater return.

Jays fan who leans towards Allen.

The Indians love bringing Miller in in the 7th and working the 8th. Allen has the RH thing in his favour.

Osuna missed time due to anxiety last year which could return, especially if the Jays are bad and/or sellers in July. If they trade Donaldson and/or their pitching underachieves (doesn't overachieve?) they could become a middling team in a hurry.

I could go either way. Get the best return you can for whichever one they want.

does the jays addition of Oh tip the scales any?
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears...in rain. Time to die.

Not to me. I was hoping Oh might have a path to save for the Rangers, but when that fell threw due to some medical concerns, I lost that hope. He has −459.67° F chance of taking saves from Osuna, unless Osuna gets hurt.
