In an NL Only where I dumped, I hung onto a $13 Hader as a keeper... even the most overpriced MR has value putting up 150 Ks with some extra W's and SV's to sweeten the deal. 80 or so innings with a 2.00 ERA and 0.74 WHIP hold quite a lot of value on their own, but I believe his role will continue to expose him to extra win and save ops, even a handful extra is great. 6 W and 11 SV this year, and likely to continue as a sometimes closer, collecting 5-10 SV per year, or more if you get lucky and there's an injury. W's are harder to project, but with a multi inning high leverage guy, he could come close to 10 W in future years. I was surprised with only 6 W this year, but still slightly above average.

Romo has perfected the art of the ugly save. He gives up another 4 runs and gets another save tonight.

Yep but Jeffress is still the closer and his ERA sits at 1.29 for the year.

Neither Knebel or Jeffress have not given up an ER all month. Hader has coughed up 7.

Holland by a hair because he has done it before. I think whoever signs him will give him a shot. He pitched pretty well in WAS.

                • How about which of Givens and Wily Peralta (KC) in April? Which would you rather have going into 2019, at similar prices?

It's a toss-up, but Willy is more proven based on 2018, and based on current rosters, KC has more talent. That could change based on offseason moves.

His numbers in Washington look great but it's a small sample and he was helped out by very good luck. His bb/9 rate is still elevated although at least his k/9 rebounded. But I agree that he's a better bet.

Here are the guys I like. Jimenez should be #2 in DET and he is at the top of the list for me. Claw is up there, too. Minter probably #3 because he's been touted for a while.

                          • Robertson/Rodney/Jimenez/Knebel/Minter would be my top five.

Rodney has the lowest upside on the list, but someone will probably pay him $4 MM to close for a while and then hopefully still be decent enough to trade for a lottery ticket or two.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Jimenez isn't even on the list. Monkey lists him as on deck.

It's awfully same-old-same-old but I can't disagree with any of those. With Milwaukee's bullpen, anyone listed third was worth a look, ditto the Yankees. At least Jimenez is on a bad team.
