Melky Cabrera

I have been offered Melky Cabrera for Dominic Brown in a 20 team league. We use 6 OF, so starter PT, from anyone, is not to be sneezed at. MC is having a career year to date, and the lineup around him has been producing. Still DB is almost ready to play.

Which would you take?

I'd hang on to Brown. When he comes back healthy and has a good week or so I think you'll get more for him.

Melky has a shot to lose PT when the the Royals go Rocky Balboa south paw in the 2nd half when they bring up AA and AAA and that could include Lorenzo Cain.

Brown (thumb) has a Grade 1 sprain and will miss five-to-seven days, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Even with the injury, the deal was on, so I took it. A bird in the hand.
