I find I'm very mixed emotions about Granderson's instant success in Dodger blue. On the one hand, he's one of the nicest guys you could meet (I've met him and can attest personally). On the other hand, the Mets seem to have gotten little other than salary relief and a relief pitching prospect.
As our president would say, "Sad!" Or perhaps "So sad!" It's pretty tough to root for the Mets under the Wilpon regime.
