    NL only trade help please.

    NL only 5x5 ultra, 12 teams, $260 budget. We use ave. but will be going to on base percentage next year.

    I am in a 3 way tie for first place. The last place/rebuilding team has offered his Trevor Story $16B for my David Dahl $5B.

    Story would be taking the place of T.J. Rivera. One of the problems is that while I need offense, Story's ba is troubling.

    I am just not sure the upgrade is worth Dahl in this deal.

    One thing I do not want to do is trade Dahl and then fall short of 1st place.

    In addition I know one of the other first place owners loves Dahl and he has assets that I want in the off season. It also would not surprise me to see the Story owner flip Dahl to the first place guy.

    I wouldn't do it...while Story is OK in OBP, he's really no great shakes there. Only if you REALLY think that Story can tip the tables in your favor this season, but you'd better have a decent cushion in BA to do that. Rivera is a solid .280+ hitter, so you need to take that into account as well.

      I'd sit pat and see if you can't get more for Dahl

        You should definitely be able to get more for Dahl. Maybe upgrade at another position anyway and keep taking Rivera's weak but not hurtful production?
