    AL only trade help please..

    AL only 5x5 $260 budget 12 team.

    I am rebuilding for next year.

    I have Whit Merrifield $14 and done next year and Chris Davis $23X (done this year). The other owner has plenty of power but needs some speed. He wants Merrifield.

    He has Khris Davis at $24B I can play him out next year or extend him for $5 a year. He also has Mike Moustakas at $20A. I can keep him at this price for the next 2 year (or extend him at the conclusion of next year).

    Stand pat or which one?

    Definitely no on Moose. He's on the trade block and could go any day. If you're rebuilding, I'd not take a chance on a guy who may well end up in the NL.

    As a rebuilder, I'd rather have Merrifield and 10-15 bucks than Khris Davis.

        With KDavis you know what you are getting.

        What is Merrifield's role next year? I would think they want Mondesi to play every day. Will they move either to SS?

        Davis is definitely the safer pick. And I own both in my AL league.

          al.escobar is a free agent this winter and has been brutal offensively. I think mondesi is at shortstop next season and Merrifield is perceptually under-valued...

            I was too lazy to look it up. That said, as a potential 15 HR 30 SB guy, Merrifield is the better value by far. I have him for $3 (2018) and a dumper opted for a $1 Juston Smoak instead. :P

              Agreed. And he can play 3B and the OF as well. And his OPS is higher than any of the Royals OFs, including Cain.
