NYY Jordan Montgomery

Any thoughts on Jordan Montgomery? Kid killed it in spring training. Looks like he might land the NYY 5th starter slot.

Could be be a viable major league starter this season? If so, what does that look like? 4.00 ERA, 1.30 WHIP? Worse/better?

I just can't find much info on Montgomery.

He's one of those sneaky college guys the Yankees always seem to find. Last year in a small sample he had 9 K/9 and 2.2 BB/9 at AAA. The question with all these guys is whether they can actually make the jump to the majors. Tall (like every damn Yankee player), lefty, throws low to mid 90s, iffy secondaries. If he can hold 95 deep into games the Yankees could have something. More likely he's Nova or Hughes or Pineda or some other guy that's fine in a normal park but doesn't work in Yankee Stadium.
