  • Is Freeman way more valuable than Polanco? WHIR!

12 team NL - ONLY 5x5 keeper (we keep 5)

    My keepers are Yelich/Polanco/Peraza/Duval/Bumgartner

I have the 9th/11th picks of draft (1st rd) and 2nd/4th picks of 2nd rd.

I have been offered Freddie Freeman and a 4th/7th/10th rd pick for Polanco and 11th overall pick/3rd rd pick and 13th rd.

    Is Freeman worth this?

    Please help!!

Not in my opinion...Polanco is finally realizing his amazing potential, he's tearing up the WBC. I like Freeman, I think that he showed that he's a stud at 1st, especially in an only league, but the steal potential sets Polanco above him, IMO. Not to mention that it looks like you're getting the short end of the deal on the draft picks...

Thanks for your reply! What about Yelich or Peraza and the same package of picks?

Instead of Freeman? No, if you're giving up Paraza for Freeman, yes...

I would be getting Freeman in every scenario. I don't think I can get freeman for Peraza. Should I do Yelich?

Personally, I love Yelich and I think that there's another level to his game, so I don't think that I'd do it while giving up the draft picks you mentioned.

I'd probably do Yelich, but not Polanco. I love Freddie, but Polanco is more valuable, even straight up--the steals make too much of a difference and Freddie is slow.

I agree with cavebird on this one. Definitely no on Polanco, but would consider Yelich. Still to many GB for my taste.

Tough to tell without knowing what's on the board available. I don't like Yelich as much as many do, and really think Freeman will continue to improve this year. But if that 11th pick could be someone good, I'd pass

With that list and the 11th pick, I'd be all over it for Freeman if Yelich is the guy I'm dealing.
