I literally drafted Ted Lilly in every league this year I think. It just worked out that way in the draft. He was a late round guy I targeted who usually does some good work. He's a flyball pitcher, but I was hoping a full season away from Wrigley would be good for him. His career numbers suggest he will come around, but it's been frustrating owning him so far this year, as he's only pitched 2 quality starts. At a deeper glance, he is below career averages on K/9 and is well above league average for BABIP.
The league in question is a 10 team redraft 5x5 mixed league. Daniel Hudson, Hellboy, Zimm, Drabek, Anibal Sanchez, and Bud Norris are the notables in the FA pool currently. Should I wait this out and have him ride the bench until he finds some consistency or should I pull the trigger on one of these guys from the pool? Much thanks.
