Classic early season "sell high" guy? Moderately for real? Guy who killed Osama? The MI/CI/OF qualifications are making me want to trade for him.
Thoughts?

Abraham Lincoln, from his Address to the Ohio One Hundred Sixty Fourth Volunteer Infantry
He was red-hot in Spring Training (.509/.603/.660) and it's carried over to the regular season. He's showing a great batting eye (14BB/11K) and he's hitting for power. The only competition at 3B/LF is Melvin Mora and Gerardo Parra, so there is playing time available, plus some platoon ABs at 2B with Kelly Johnson. But will it last? I'm still a skeptic.
Plug me into the "moderately for real" class. He's not THIS good, but as Oakland A's noted, his competition is incredibly lame, especially Mora, who combines outterrific hitting with near statuesque fielding right now. IMO, the power will go down, but he'll deliver a solid BA, good OBP, and some decent counting stats.
Yeah, the peripherals are pretty good in a small sample size. Won't keep it up, but not a complete mirage after a month after some guys usually are. A hold - you won't get a lot for him, and don't buy these stats. Useful in NL-only, I'd be more careful in mixed...

.238 last 31 days, but .253 xBA, which is right about what you can expect from here.
So a .250 hitter in the 2nd half, don't expect more, but does have some speed and power. Would not be a primary target if I'm rebuilding, but you don't have to dump him for a box of rocks, either. not the biggest fluke in MLB by any means.

He's run hot and cold but if he qualifies for 2B in 2012 (11 starts I believe right now + 1 as SS so 12 for MI) he becomes a lot more interesting as a .250/.340 hitter with 15/15 potential at 2B is not too shabby. As it is for 2011, in CBS he qualifies for 2B/3B/OF so a very useful plug-in player.
