What does Kershaw go for if you throw him back?

I am thinking if it were my team I would keep someone else in the Kershaw spot and bid him back to 70 (if needed) at auction.

      C-Mart
      Carrasco
      Correa
Lemahieu (really, is Odor 13 bucks better? I say no)
      Sano

Definitely keeping those 5. After that, it's kind of a tossup. I like Buxton. If you keep Davis, Frazier AND Sano, who rescues your batting average? I am not convinced that you need Kershaw when you have Carrasco and C-Mart. But what does a 3rd pretty good starter cost? If your option is to pay $55 for Quintana or $70 for Kershaw, I keep Kershaw.

In last year's auction, here are what some other top SPs went for:
Price 49, Kluber 50,MadBum 50, Sale 56,Harvey 59. Kershaw will go 60 easily, probably more.

Even with a $300 budget, $70 seems a bit rich, especially since you're already keeping two very good SPs.

I think JC has the five obvious ones, after that I'd probably go Davis, Frazier, and I guess Buxton.

Given those prices I'd throw Kershaw back.

Yeah, me too. I think you're safe not being forced to pay Kershaw prices for a solid #3 to pair with your 2 aces.

No qualms about Carrasco's DL stints the past 2 years?

Surprised that no one else likes Castellanos.

                    C-Mart
                    Carrasco
                    Correa
                    Lemahieu
                    Davis
                    Buxton
                    Odor

Only reason to keep Kershaw at that price is if you had no other pitching or a terrible keeper list IMO.

I like this list plus Sano. You spend $56 bucks and have a lot of money for the auction.

In a 13-team mixed he's a weak CI at best. Rotoworld's draft guide has him as the #19 3B (although that includes guys like Javy Baez and Manny Machado which most people will use as a SS instead). Best to keep players that would be starters even if you have to keep them at closer to what their dollar value would be.
