CHICAGO -- The Cubs haven't ruled out a possible return for injured slugger Kyle Schwarber, if the team were to advance to the World Series.

Schwarber, who tore two ligaments in his left knee in just the third game of the regular season, has been cleared by doctors to hit and will join the Mesa Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League on Saturday.

The hope is that if the Cubs can clinch the National League pennant, Schwarber would be available to be the team's designated hitter for World Series games in Cleveland.

So if he gets 3 games at DH would that mean all the NL only leagues would have to play him in their UT spot?

Even if Schwarber is healthy i can't see him being ready to hit major league pitching so soon. If this were the regular season he would probably need at least a weeks worth of minor league games to get ready.

World Series ticket prices are going crazy for this one!

"The average asking price for the four games scheduled for Cleveland, including the series opener on Tuesday night, is about $3,900, according to ticket tracker TicketIQ. A ticket for a deciding Game 7, which would be played Nov. 2, could cost $5,000."

"But even that's a bargain compared with what it'll cost to get into Games 3, 4 and 5 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, where the average asking price is about $7,200 a seat."

Schwarber added to Cubs' WS roster and Salazar added to Indians' WS roster.

That first inning was a real nail biter for Cubs fans. It sure didn't seem like Arrieta pitched as well as his final numbers indicate.

We are feeling pretty good about this next one. Hendricks at home. I hope The Professor has his A game.
