    Young guy, yes, but he is not respecting his sport, hit team mates or himself. So, is it immaturity or stupidity ?


    Miguel Sano said Thursday that he plans to lose 20 pounds over the offseason.
    Sano said the same thing heading into last offseason but wound up shedding only a few pounds prior to spring training. La Velle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune notes that teammates "have had to stay on (Sano) about getting in his workouts" during the season. The 23-year-old does seem more committed to getting into better shape now after a disappointing season that's seen him bat just .236/.322/.459 while battling injuries. "My plans for next year are to work harder during the offseason, try to lose weight and come back next year and play the whole season at third base," Sano said.

    I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at. Are you alluding to the fact he's making this declaration again? Or that he doesn't work out that hard during the season? Or that he was out of shape to begin with?

    He's declaring that he wants to be in better shape for next season, so isn't that good?

      There are many reasons why people are overweight, some more legit than others.

      For Sano, its laziness. What else could it be? Unless he has a health issue that contributes to his weight

        I heard from a reliable source that there are actually many reasons why people are overweight.
        It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
