Colorado just knocked Strasburg out of the Cy Young race.
9 ER in 1.2 IP, and they didn't need a HR to do it. All nine guys have one hit or walk.

Strasburg has now given up 18 er in his last 11.2 ip over 3 starts. Without checking, i'm assuming the velocity is still there with 18 k's in those 11.2 ip. Control is shaky but not terrible with 6 bb's in those 11.2 ip. The big culprit is the 24 hits in those 11.2 ip. Maybe he's tipping his pitches? Coors field didn't help him today. There are less than 4 weeks left in the season and backup O's catcher, Caleb Joseph, who has been up most of the year, still doesnt have an RBI. His stats:
22-120, 6 R, 2 2B, 0 HR, 0 RBI, .183/.228/.200
