This is my AFA team and I need power. Is a waiver claim a no-brainer hoping he heats up at some point? I would drop one of my 5 closers Kintzler/Kelley/Estevez.

Simple answer: Yes. Can you trade Estevez? Otherwise, he'd be the reluctant drop for me. Paps should be out a other couple weeks making Kelley still valuable, and Kintzler is lead in MIN. Motte looming for Estevez, Ottavino back at some point, McGee not that far off, etc. But it's close, and the sports radio guys here in Denver were raving about Estevez so far. So now that I think about it, maybe Kintzler could be the drop w/ MIN being worst team. Given the Stanton is 8 for 21 with 3 runs, 3 RBI, and a HR in his last 5 games, the owner picked a curious time to drop him. His day off today appears to be just that. He may not have his swing fully fixed yet, but he may be on the right track. Grab him now. I've tried to trade for him in my AFA league with no success.Comment
