    Trade Mazara. .

    13 team mixed..5x5..8 keepers..$300 budget

    I have Mazara for $1 in 2017, $6 in 2018, $11 in 2019.

    Is he worth Chris Davis who is $52 and owned by the 12th place team going nowhere?

    Is that a fair offer?

    I think it is. I like Mazara a lot, and I think he is a great get in exchange for Davis for a team going nowhere. On the other side, Davis is heating up, and was otherworldly in the second half of last year, hitting 28 homers after the AS break. A hot Davis is about as good as anyone, and he seems to be going into beast mode again. Looks like a win-win to me.

    I'd be surprised if the other guy didn't take it, but your timing may be a bit off. I'm sure he'd have jumped at the deal a week ago, but he may get greedy and want more for Davis now. But I'd just remind him that Mazara is a super cheap stud and stand firm.

      I think that's a great offer, certainly one that he would consider. The real question is whether Davis will be better than Mazara the rest of the way!

        I am a big believer in Mazara, but think as a rookie he will slow down. And Davis still produces at an elite clip in 3 categories.

        But I'm torn about offering it. Thanks for the replies.

            Is Davis alone enough for Mazara given his keeper price? I starting to think that Mazara is worth more than just Davis.

              I'd certainly ask for more...doesn't mean you'll get it. I also have Mazara-1A and am trying to get Scherzer-38B, Murphy-6A, and Blackmon-5X

                This. Davis will probably be better than Mazara ROS. However, there is 2 years' implied value in Mazara at $6/$11 that is worth more than the difference in their production this year.
