    I lead in Era 2.195, whip 1.002 and K's 275 over 245 IP yet I'm second to last in wins.

    We switched to Wins plus Quality Starts (WQS) this season. Everyone approves.
    If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

      I really like the QS because that is more indicative of how a starting pitcher is doing rather than just plain wins. But what DMT league is doing is interesting. So a pitcher could go 7 IP give up 2 ER and get a win and a QS giving giving 2 points. I might propose that to the my league.

        Has anyone dumped wins & saves as the categories? Saves are as arbitrary as wins, but I struggle with how not to completely devalue relievers. Then again, I'm also ready to punt the 2nd catcher position into orbit as we don't even have enough good catchers to handle 1 catcher 12-team mixed leagues these days.
