  • SP in MLB thus far....

16 SP have an ERA under 2.00 so far. Whoa!!! When will the hitting catch up???

When they lower the mound again.

Seems like you might be missing the point. In small sample sizes there will be more variation - more guys will have low ERAs and more guys will have high ERAs. Over larger samples the rate stats move back toward the middle (from both directions)

FYI, the following have an Avg at or below .230 (AL version)
            Lorenzo Cain
            Adam Jones
            Todd Frazier
            Kendrys Morales
            Matt Weiters
            Carlos Gomez
            Alex Gordon
            Corey Dickerson
            Albert Pujols
            Troy Tulowitzski

            Things will change.....

Last year's MLB ERA was 3.96, so pitchers overall are actually very slightly worse last year, like I was suggesting above.
