  • One month in...how does it look so far?

    13 team...mixed...5x5...(madducks and Mag 7 in league)

After one month i'm hanging around 1st place. My pitching has been solid. Hitting has been up and down even though I have more hitting than pitching points.

    Good:
    Kershaw, Arrieta, Aaron Sanchez, Pomeranz
Altuve, Marte, Fowler, W. Castillo, C. Rasmus

    Bad :
    J.Turner

Everyone else has been at least productive in some way.

My pitching should keep me in the hunt. Hitting has the talent, but I have a few iffy guys who can either be,solid or bust (Grichuk, Ozuna, Semien, Moreland)

    How you guys doin?

It's pretty amazing, in one league, the RJ staff league I can do no wrong. leading in most counting cats ERA, Ks Whip, HR, RBI hanging around 1st I should be cool as I've great deadline chips to barter.

In RJEL, my pitching, which I thought would be solid, has be horrid though my hitting has killed it. In the middle, but should my arms return to form (come ON Price and Pineda!) I should be good, if not I;ve great pieces to build toward tomorrow or deal for a run.

In my final league I've crapped out only a month in, you know when your team sucks and mine does. So this year is fun, mixed, but fun.

The Padres taking 2 of 3 and losing 1-0 to Kershaw when the staff gave up 3 hits is a HUGE win for this weekend.

Now if I can only trade freaking Trevor Story!

Had a huge week hitting, and I've been jumping between 2nd/3rd. I've got a great pitching staff and a solid, if unspectacular hitting lineup. In May I hope to get Choo, Travis, Darvish, Street and Boxberger back so if I can stay competitive for the next few weeks I should have an interesting season.

For the NL team that I posted here awhile back I'm in 3rd place. My offense has been very solid so far - lead the league there. But my pitching has been terrible. I gotten a combined 7 points for Wins, ERA and Whip. If my starting pitching can get better I may have a shot.

I forgot I am in the RJ Mock 1 League.

I went against the grain at the draft and picked SP with 3 of my first 4 picks. Scherzer and Archer off to slow starts have doomed my pitching thus far.

I am currently in 9th out of 16. Plenty of time and room to advance up the standings.

              6th out of 13 in my 25 year local league (w/ Mith & Mag7)
2nd out of 12 in my Yahoo Pro League

Getting Chapman back next week in the local league.
Lost Schwarber in the other league but picked up Molina.
Still recovering from the 4-11 Verlander/Matz-accre (14 er/6 ip) on my pitching ratios in both leagues. And i resisted the urge to drop them. No easy feat for me.

Been 7th or 8th (of 10) most of the time, but have been as high as 2nd. Standings still very volatile.

I basically punted April by spending $5 of my $75 auction budget on Brantley and Darvish, as well as some early FAAB money on Eduardo Rodriguez.

I have to start 6 SP and while Strasburg, Stroman and Ross have been fine, everyone else has been shaky, and right now I have to play three of Pineda, Corbin, Medlen, Anibal Sanchez and Owens.

Most of my hitters have started slowly. Heck, pretty much all of them except Segura, S. Perez and Piscotty. Worst offenders: Votto, Frazier, Park, C. Gomez, Puig (after a hot start) and A-Rod (who of course got hot last week after I benched him).
