  • Ramos/Conger/Lucroy

Need some advise on available catchers for a standard 5x5 with 2 catcher slots.

I will need to choose from Wilson Ramos; Hank Conger and Jonathan Lucroy. It is a keeper league, but I am really focused on this year right now.

    Thanks

Not an easy choice, as the best hitter may be the riskiest. I like Conger the best, but he could always be sent back to AAA if he has a slump. Right now, I think Lucroy is the safest to get playing time, since Ramos is battling Pudge (and maybe Flores), and Conger has to split time with Mathis. But LuCroy doesn't offer much power potential.

      I agree with this.

With Morales continuing to have bad news, the Angels need offense. I would bet on Conger staying up and being productive. I'd rank Ramos 2nd as a roll of the dice. Lucroy will play but what will he contribute?

I think I'd go with Ramos and Conger. Like everyone else has said, Conger can hit and I think he'll stick around. Ramos, even though he has been sharing time has been crushing the ball and it's only a matter of time before he runs away with the starting gig.

What if were to add Hanigan the the list of catchers?

So, now the choice is Ramos; Conger; Lucroy or Hanigan
