  • Atlanta Promotes Albies and Swanson (To AAA/AA)

For those who care, Atlanta just promoted Albies to AAA and Swanson to AA. That didn't take long!!

It won't take them long to the Bigs. Wonder if they move one of them to another position so both can play at the same time.

Undoubtedly...Both guys have the cops to play SS, but it's likely that Swanson will move over to 2nd, IMO. Probably be starting in the bigs on opening day of 2017...

That has been my view, Hornsby. Others think Albies to 2B but I just don't see it. The kid is a whiz and the Braves sure liked the last one from Curaçao (Simmons). Will be fun to watch both. The Braves are so bad now that it could hurt the development of these two to have them in the bigs!

I could see the Braves trying to create some buzz and calling both up in August since Aybar and Peterson are pretty crappy. Seems like both might be ready now but they at least need to wait past the super two deadline and I'm guessing they'll hope Aybar gets hot so they can flip him at the deadline. The safe money is them waiting until next year and probably two weeks into the season Kris Bryant style.

Hard to say who sticks at SS. I too think it will be Albies, but both are worthy to stick there. A shame one will have to move from his natural position, but it could be a hell of a MIF combo for them.
