Our league is in it's 26th year, and we have moderately based our rules on the Constitution from Daniel Okrent and Glenn Waggoner's 1984 publication "The Official Rules of Rotisserie League Baseball".
So, we always have our auction on the first Saturday after opening day, to ensure that only players from the 25-man rosters (and eligible DL players), can be drafted.
