Should I extend any of these AL only guys?

AL only 12 team roto keeper 5x5 w/OBP and QS and H+S $260

These are my keepers going in. Which of the highlighted players whose contract is up at the end would you add an extra yr for $5? Springer is obvious and I already pegged him for at least 1 yr, but would you add 2 and make him $20 through 2018? Right now if I only extended Springer and made him $15, my salary going in would be $120 for 14 payers and leave $140 to spend on 9.

I may have confused things by already putting the one yr on Springer in my list. He is $10 right now so extend him just the 1 yr to $15 or 2 yrs to $20?

I don't like purposely extending guys to $20 unless they are someone like Mike Trout. I'd stick with 1 year to $15. The rest I would not extend.

I'd go to 20 on Springer, if he stays healthy (yes, a big if), he'll easily produce a healthy profit.

That's one heck of a keeper list. Hornsby is correct; Springer likely gives you a very healthy profit at 20 through '18. However, I'd look to win now, so I'd extend him only the one year to 15 and have the extra cash. Same for Forsythe - don't extend him. If I were building for the future, I'd extend Springer to 20 and FOrsythe to 8.

I'd extend springer 1 year and drop j.smith...same value of relief pitcher can be had for $1.
