    One scout in attendance has Jered Weaver topping out at 80 mph in two innings today. He threw a 78-mph fastball Austin Barnes hit for a HR.

      yep, I just moved my target evaluation for Matt Shoemaker from -4 to -3.
      It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

          Does he still throw from the rubber or does he use the first-pitch approach from in front of the mound?
