Pollock by a pretty wide margin. And I like deGrom plenty.

Plus you save 3 bucks. Honestly I would be all over that.

Happily I have both in our league. In a standard NL 5x5 do you extend deGrom at $16 (to two years / $21)? Or do you ride it out?

How bad is inflation in your league?

Pollock was pulled off the table. I got Lester 12, Belt 3 and Pomeranz 1

I felt I needed the depth in my keeper pool

                Thanks for the feedback

I know this does you no good now, but while Pollock for DeGrom was a good deal, in a 15 team mixed league, as a general rule, I think giving the best player/keeper is usually the wrong play. Unless you keep 15+ players, I'm not sure Pomernaz is a keeper, unless he is anointed closer, of course, and if that happens, the value in this deal shifts a good bit.

Is the sense that he has the inside track on the job? I am not up-to-date on my Padres news.

Yeah... that's not a very good deal. I mean, I guess the downgrade from Degrom to Lester isn't that bad. And Belt is useful in a league that deep. But the Padres signed Rodney to close, so Pomeranz isn't a keeper.

I have a very thin keeper list in my opinion. I am not planning on keeping Pomeranz unless he gets the gig, which is up for grabs again, in my opinion. I am confident in Lester and belt. I hate giving up deGrom but it does bring me more value and allows me to not keep a very at value 24 dollar player

Usually 25% or slightly less. Of course it's not uniform; top hitters have higher inflation. Top SP max out at $35 at auction but most are low $30s. I have cheap keepers and am debating whether to keep Goldschmidt at $49 given my cheap keepers and his production/reliability. So deGrom is not an easy call.

                          Bumping this.

                          1) would you extend deGrom from $16 option to $21 for two years?
                          2) would you rather have deGrom at $16 or Syndergaard at $5? Might be able to pursue a trade.
