Ok, I'll start the PONY league keeper lists.

    Pitchers
    Contracts
    Pos Players salary contract
    P John Axford P | OAK 5 o17

    P Craig Kimbrel P | BOS 26 o17
    P Francisco Liriano P | PIT 16 o17
    P Jonathon Niese P | PIT 10 o17
    P Jose Fernandez 5 o16
    P Colin McHugh 5 o16
    P Marcus Stroman 5 o16

    P Ervin Santana P | MIN 9 o17
    P Junichi Tazawa P | BOS 5 o17
    P Miguel Gonzalez P | BAL 5 o17

    P Mark Appel P | HOU 5 MIN
    P Hunter Harvey P | BAL 5 MIN
    P Alex Meyer P | MIN 5 MIN
    P Dillon Tate P | TEX 5 MIN

The MIN are the minor leaguers are not part of the 10 keepers.

The BOLD players are my current "no-brainer" keepers.

I'm considering some others but wanted the Junkies thoughts.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey, just team.

    I'd go with:

    Turner
    Span
    Spangenberg
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Can you start out with keepers on you reserve roster? Example, can you keep Maybin as part of your reserve roster?

Not really.....the auction draft is to finalize the 23 players BUT we have the first few rds of the reserve draft almost immediately following.

I can see keeping Span. I am not sold on Justin Turner enough to save a spot for him. I am not enamored with anyone else unless their situation changes. However I know you and your willingness to deal so I'm guessing you make a move or two to get another solid keeper or two.

IPK is mildly interesting now that he's in KC. I like Turner at that price. Worth the risk. Same with Span. With a roster that cheap, what you actually need is a good star player even if they're a little pricey.

I agree with this. I would be looking to try to take on a little salary for a star player.

I also like Turner and Span at these prices.

Are you saying to keep a star player like Fielder at $35 or buy some star players at the auction? Or both?

Well unless you plan to spend $150 at auction then yes you'll need to buy some on draft day But I meant you might want to consider finding someone who can give you at least a little value and keep them as a hedge against inflation. A $35 Prince is a little high, but that general ballpark.

Not a $35 Fielder, but maybe trade some of your excess for a better high priced player.
