  • Storen Traded for Revere

I don't really get this one. Michael Taylor seems like a much better player than Revere, and Osuna seemed like a solid closer.

Wow, that is a bummer. I was counting on Taylor this year. Weird deal.

      My $1 Osuna...damn....

This trade makes sense for the Jays if they're planning to move Osuna into the rotation, but no idea why the Nats made this deal.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Maybe the player to be named later? Other than that, no clue.

Because they needed an OF, leadoff hitter and LH bat?

And let's not forget that Storen didn't exactly accept the Papelbon acquisition as a vote of confidence.

Well, one out of three ain't bad. Dishrag of an arm, doesn't take a walk often, but does hit left-handed.

I get they needed another OFer with Werth and/or Harper likely to miss games, but I don't see relying on Revere as a good move for them. Taylor has big holes in his swing, but he has speed and power, and is way better defensively. I guess there aren't a lot of options left out there for them for a 4th OFer, but relying on Revere as a starter and pushing Taylor to the bench doesn't make them better.
