    Royals Review has learned it is a deal worth around four years, $70 million.



    That's not a crazy amount of money.

      Most of the Royals starts become FAs in 2018 - they need to be all-in for 2016 and 2017.
      Also, KC home attendance went from 1.95m in 2014 to 2.7m (10th overall) in 2015 - give em every reason to come back in 2016.
      So while Gordon's numbers had warning signs in 2015, I like it a heck of a lot better than standing pat.

        a good deal for both parties

        I thought Dexter Fowler would have been a good fit for them if they let Gordon walk.
