Does any of this have any effect on Rosario?

What do you guys think of Rosario for 2016 and beyond.

Love him. Rock solid defender and hitter. My bet is that he makes 1-2 AL all star teams within the next 5 years. I'm hoping that part of the reason for trading Hicks is because they want Rosario playing 162.

Twins sign Park to a 4 year/12million dollar deal. A no risk deal for the Twins, all they did was pay money, didn't give up anything else for him. Add in the posting fee and you've got a guy for 6 million a year, not bad.

Is he the favorite for the DH spot now over Vargas?

Vargas hasn't had a good spring but not being on the 40 man is a big problem for Park at the moment

I have Park for $5 in a10 team AL only league. A month ago he wasnt even considered as a possible keeper. Given his spring I have to at least start to looking at him.

I agree with Jason that not being on the 40 will make it harder for him to make the team out of ST. They could just let him go to AAA and if he plays well bring him up then; that way they do not have to risk moving/losing someone off the 40. Unfortunately I do not think Twins make a firm decision until after my roster protection (3/26).

It's likely becoming obvious to the Twins that Mauer is their 3rd best option at DH/1B, but they're not going to sit him yet.

Park was sent down to AAA Rochester today, as the Twins decided to go with 13 pitchers for at least the 1st week and a half. Kennys Vargas is either going to be placed on the DL, or set to AAA as well...
