            2012 WS deciding game ended in extras (10th). That was Giants over Tigers in 4 games.

            • well, that was a great run by KC thru the playoffs ... can't say they played flawless baseball - more like mosquito baseball - you can shoo them away but they just keep coming. Gotta feel for Harvey who pitched a great game in as big a pressure situation as it gets.

              Let the off-season wheeling & dealing begin. 109 days until pitchers & catchers report.
              It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

              • Yeah, KC was never a clear favorite to get back, but they got it done. An impressive run, and a remarkable accomplishment given the unbalanced playing field that is MLB.

                    The question remains, how did they do it? They won at least ten games more than they projected last spring.
