Super happy with the group of keepers I have going forward, despite sacrificing my 1st Rd pick for some brutal Gallardo innings, and having zero farm guys to hold over. My major league 10 will be solid.

Who's joining me in the winner's circle this year?!

    Congrats Jesse!!

I managed to hang on to first place for my first AL only title. Here is my final roster. I also had Carlos Carrasco for most of the year but dropped him when he came off the DL because his contract was not keepable. I had done the same thing with Perkins, he cleared waivers and I was able to FAAB him again so assuming he returns the closers role I will have a keeper.

I suppose winning by a 113 to 97.5 margin qualifies as overkill, but 8 years is a LONG time between titles, so I got a little bloodthirsty

Won my 4th mixed league title very easily. I was up 25 pts for the majority of the year. I was only out of 1st in April. Shame though is that most of these guys are also in a dynasty league with me and I was in 1st most of the year and last week I dropped to 2nd and finished there around 3.5 pts out. That hurt.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

AL only 4x4, my 21st year in the league.

Never sniffed 1st place until middle of August, never released control of it thereafter. In a curious turn of events, in a league that typically is VERY active at the 8/31 trade deadline, almost no trades were made as the league assumed I would walk away with the title. And I'd only been in 1st for 2 weeks! Although it technically wasnt over until the last day, I maintained a 4-5 pt lead throughout September.

Draft day lineup vs closing bell lineup

            C E.Gattis 21A
            C M.Zunino 4B - K. Suzuki 10A
            1B M.Cabrera 40A
            3B C.Davis 26A
CI N.Castellanos 5B - N.Castellanos 6A (cut him, he got hot, picked him up 2 wks later!)
            2B J.Kipnis 31A
            SS X.Bogaerts 8X
            MI E.Cabrera 3A - A.Cabrera 10A
            DH S.Victorino 2A - M.Moreland 10A
OF J.Ellsbury 31X (B.Burns occupied a slot through all of Ellsbury & Springer injuries)
            OF JD. Martinez 10B
            OF G. Springer 10B
            OF A. Eaton 9B
            OF S. Pearce 7B - J.Bradley 6A

            P C.Carrasco 6B
            P P.Hughes 3B - M.Fiers 10A
            P J.Samardzija 29X - C.Hammels 31A
            P D.Hutchison 3A - B.Rondon 8A
P M.Stroman 3A (special assist to E.Volquez who held this slot most of year!)
            P K.Gausman 1A - J.Machi 8A
            P J.Mcgee 2B - D.Pomeranz 7A
            P D.Robertson 8X
            P G.Holland 11X - D.Holland 10A

Team was dominant in the obvious and not so obvious (Led AVG, HR, RBI, W, 3rd in SV & SB. Bottom feeder in ERA/WHIP). Pickups E.Volquez & B.Burns were the "unsung heroes".

            Overall finishes over the last 17 years - 5 1sts, 3 2nds, 3 3rds. Not bad.
One league, 28 years, 9 championships. AL 4X4

Won the Idle Hands league, 16 team mixed, most/all RJers. First win in a money league in a long time, I think since the '90s.

I did my own scoring on a set of projections, then boosted hitters based on age, and boosted pitchers based on home park.

I want to add that this might be my 1st win without leading a single category! How strange is that?! Had big leads in BA, HR, and SV at various points.

                BA - 3rd
                HR - 3rd
                RBI - 3rd
                R - 2nd
                SB - T-4th

                ERA - 3rd
                Whip - 7th
                W - 2nd
                K - 2nd
                SV - 2nd

Won my 3rd championship in a row in my keeper. In July and most of August my lead had evaporated and I slid all the way to third but then a couple weeks of good hitting and a month of good pitching boosted me up to a 25 point lead at the end.

Won both 12to and PONY this year and finished 2nd in Mock One. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, I guess.

I won a 12-team mixed 5x5. Decent keeper list (Cespedes, Harvey, Kluber, BHamilton, Chapman, CCarter, Bryant in minors) but I could have had Pollock instead of Carter. I spent a total of $35 on my pitching, most of it coming from the three keepers, but nobody else in this league seems to like streaming so even though I also did a medium-crappy job of streaming it was still enough to get me into the top couple places in W/K without completely cratering my ERA/WHIP.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

                        3rd in both my 10-team AL-only and 12-team NL-only

AL: traded for Miggy, Price, and Adam Jones while giving up Springer and Rodon but injuries to key hitters (aka the guys I traded for) dropped me from 2nd to 3rd on the last day of the season. It's not a big money league so it only cost me $100 but I'm still pretty bitter about it

NL: bounced between 1st/2nd for most of the first 4 months of the season, absolutely ravaged by trades after losing Cueto, Hamels, Revere, and Trumbo without getting anything useful back. Didn't help that all my key hitters took a dump in the 2nd half - Frazier, Grandal, Wong, J. Peralta, Maybin...

Oh well, better to finish in the money than not but still bitter about what could've been this year.

My title reign has ended. 14 team mixed 5x5 (with madducks and Mag7)

After winning the last three years I came in second this year. Winner was in first pretty much all season. He had 115 points and I had 110.

I dominated pitching by winning 4/5 categories and finished with 67/70 possible pitching points. Average doomed me as I finished in 12th place in the category.

                          I am ok with keepers:

                          Arrieta $6
Kershaw $65. ( Yeah I will probably keep him)
Happ $1 (if he stays with pirates)
                          Tolleson $1 (if he closes)
                          Altuve $29
                          Carpenter $16
                          Deshields $1
                          Bautista$42 (maybe)
