Schwarber won't get a start at catcher for the remainder of this season. It was reported a couple of weeks ago that the Cubs won’t use him at catcher so as to minimize the risk of doing further damage to his injured ribs. The only shot of getting that one game behind the plate would be in a double-switch or emergency situation.
