Austin Jackson to the Cubs

Cubs acquired OF Austin Jackson and cash considerations from the Mariners in exchange for a player to be named later and international slot money.
Jackson is hitting just .272/.312/.387 this season, but he gives the Cubs more depth and offers them another option in the outfield with Jorge Soler (oblique) injured. He's slated to hit free agency after the season.

Looks like a good move for the Cubs, in that they gave up little to get Jackson.

Could be a useful platoon-mate for Coghlan in the outfield. Or good defensive replacement for Schwarber.
