    Go crazy folks!! Be loud!!!
Considering his only baseball post in the past year was bringing up a 3 year old thread to taunt Hornsby and he's never contributed a dime to our hatpass, perhaps?

134 pitches, and his first career complete game.
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

Wow, that's like Johan Santana's PC that ended his career!

They said it was the first time Fiers pitched into the ninth inning in his career.

I don't care if his glove had a cloaking device on it - it's still goddamn embarrassing to get no-hit by the guy

I was there. It was amazing.

Nobody could touch him all night, except for the Justin Turner deep ball that just went foul down the left field line, and the first out of the ninth to Jake Marisnick on the warning track in front of the bullpen.

For those of you who want to see my ugly mug, apparently I got some air time by sitting behind some guy named Nolan Ryan after a no-hitter.

As Wayne used to say, "most excellent"! Looking good there in the management suite, maybe someday, front row with a big title...fingers crossed.

As far as throwing 134 pitches, it's a no-hitter, something they can never take away from you. Fiers has had, and probably will continue to have, a mediocre career, but it is a MAJOR LEAGUE career. So let him have his cherry on a sundae and bask in the glory for the rest of his life.

one of the few things I agree with Hornsby on....

For the record, I was in favor of leaving him in for the ninth, not that A.J. was asking me.
