  • innings management - starting pitchers

I am starting to get to the point where I need to manage innings - 1500 max

I have a very strong pitching staff and will not move in ratio or era - and I still need to basically keep strikeouts as one per inning

    I have
    Kershaw
    Hamels
Bumgarner - these three are automatic starts

Lynn - Cards - good team
Garcia - Cards - good team
Santiago - angels most of the time should be started
Teheran - weak link but pitching at home has been solid

I gues I should start Teheran tomorrow at home against Miami - seems a win is likely

any suggestions for deciding who/when I should start the rest? - maybe checking betting lines?

I have Santiago, so I know his splits.
You want him at home, and for AL teams, these road opponents: CLE, SEA, TEX, OAK, CHW
(probably start him on road vs NL opponents excl COL, LAD, ARI, CHC, maybe CIN)

Lynn has been better at home, both this year and for his career overall. Beware @COL, @ARI, @LAD
Garcia has been better at home in the past, this year it's about even on a small sample size. He's a lefty, so maybe same matchups as Santiago.
