which of these are worth trying to pick up? 5x5 mixed using AVG

1B/UT: currently using Lind and Carter. pick up Bour or Cron or Hicks?
2B/MI: currently using Kinsler and Espinosa. pick up Forsythe?

P: after injuries this week, my worst pitchers are Karns, Moore, Wisler, ERodriguez. pick up Erasmo Ramirez, Buehrle, KGibson?

And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

No to the hitters, though Espinosa and Forsythe is a coin flip

I'd probably drop Wisler and Matt Moore for Eraser and Gibson

      Re-draft or keeper?

Keeper, but salaries go up 5 a year and only 6 keepers, and I already have Harvey, Kluber, BHamilton, Bryant, Stroman, and AMiller at very good prices so these are unlikely to be kept.

Probably pick up Hicks for potential, agree with JC on the pitchers. Leave MI alone...

Have you seen Erasmo's stats lately? I'd take him in a heartbeat over Moore.

That's why I said lately. He had a rough April (mostly as a reliever) but since then he's had the following lines:

              May - 31 IP, 2.90 ERA, 15 H, 10 BB, 27 K
              June - 25 IP, 1.44 ERA, 21 H, 5 BB, 22 K
              July - 12 IP, 1.50 ERA, 7 H, 4 BB, 8 K

And I totally disagree that Moore has big time upside, especially coming off TJ. Even before the surgery he was a major WHIP liability with his poor walk rates so with the diminished command that comes with TJ I'd be shocked if he ends up with an ERA under 4 this year.

No, he really does have big time upside...we never know if it'll be realized though. He's the kind of guy you want on your roster in case he suddenly discovers control...then he'll be damn near unhittable. At the end of the bench, I'll always take a chance on upside rather than another pedestrian pitcher having a good month...

A good month? Did you miss the other months posted?

And I'll be all about Matt Moore 2016 but there's no way I'm trusting him this year.

Gibson has been pretty good this year too. I like him over Wisler & probably over Moore too.

Yeah, it's pretty evident he's going to have to work his way back into form. It could be pretty ugly along the way; I really wonder if he'd be better back in AAA
