An owner with Shark/Kazmir is looking for a bat. He offered EE for Kazmir. I emailed him the following ideas.

Which of these deals is best for me?

A) EE/Pomeranz for Shark/Hamilton
B) EE/Shoemaker for Shark/Hamilton
C) Zobrist for Kazmir
D) Rusney for Kazmir

I wouldnt even contemplate a deal involving EE for any combo of those players.

Yeah, Kazmir's injury scares me and Sharky is not pitching well. I don't like any of those. Maybe in a non-keeper you can explore Rusney and a small 2nd piece for Sharky.

Another owner is dangling Tanaka/Carrasco. Freese/Melky/Choo/Souza are his hitters that I like.

I asked about Carrasco/Freese

I can see him asking for EE/(Pomeranz or Shoemaker)

I just traded RDavis for Britton so I don't want to move Calhoun/Kinsler/Reyes (guys with speed).

Is that enough to move EE?

I would do EE/Pomeranz for Carrasco/Freese. I think Carrasco is a stud waiting to happen. I wouldn't give up EE for Tanaka, even though I think EE may be a little diminished from last year. I'm a little hesitant to move Shoemaker, who I think might be figuring some things out. But might still do EE/Shoe for Carrasco/Freese if you have to.
